NEW ALBUM FOR K VIBES ROSE AMONG THORNS ON THE WAY

After many years of quality singles with Studio One, Randy's Impact, Digital English and now King Jammy's, K Vibes/Brick Rose has completed her first album ROSE AMONG THORNS with Flynn and Flynn music's Chain Gang label. This album is a long time coming for many of her fans who have followed her career over the years. The album is set for release this June 2014. There is a combination song with General Trees which K Vibes says is her favorite DJ on the Reggae Scene. She also has a combination with Screechy Dan who also greatly inspired and encouraged her throughout the years in her musical career. There will be a few previously released songs on the album such as, PULL UP and REGGAE MUSIC. The album has a variety of Reggae, Ska, R&B, Dancehall, Lovers Rock and Roots and Culture. She does it all while giving a little history about herself in the first and last track, Long Way and Brooklyn Story. Most of the tracks are live instrumentation and very well put together lyrically. The Brick Rose now lives between Jamaica and NY. Most of the album was done in Jamaica, mixed and mastered by veteran producer Barry O'hare.
